Livon – Jewelry That Keeps Love Alive

At Livon, we believe love doesn’t end — it lives on.

Born from the need to keep those we’ve lost close, Livon creates memorial jewelry that holds more than ashes or hair — it holds stories, memories, and the essence of someone unforgettable.

Each piece is handcrafted with care, turning loss into legacy. Whether it’s a fingerprint, a lock of hair, or a note etched in gold — our jewelry helps you keep them close, always.

Because when someone leaves, their love stays.
Livon — for the ones who live on in you.

Sonya is a mother of two, entrepreneur, and jewelry designer living on the West Coast of BC. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design in 2012, where her favorite part of the design process was seeing and touching the tangible, finished prints of her work.

After graduating and working as a packaging designer and marketing design manager, she came to realize that her true passion extended beyond the screen. She felt drawn to creating three-dimensional pieces—objects she could shape, hold, and bring to life with her hands. This realization led her to jewelry making, where she refined her craft through formal training and self-teaching.

Over time, Sonya wanted her creative path to feel more aligned with her personal story and core values. That question opened her eyes to the world of memorial jewelry—a space where craftsmanship meets emotion, memory, and healing.

Today, Sonya focuses her work on creating meaningful memorial pieces, each one thoughtfully designed to honor love, connection, and lasting memories.

How Livon Was Born

During the pandemic, Sonya lost her grandfather on the other side of the world. Travel restrictions prevented her from being by his side or attending his funeral, leaving her devastated and heartbroken.

Some time later, her grandmother sent her his wallet—the one he had carried with him for years. Inside were photographs he had cherished, and the familiar scent of his presence still lingered in the worn leather. Holding it brought an unexpected sense of comfort, relief, and closure. In that moment, Sonya realized how powerful memorial objects can be.

Something as simple as a wallet became a bridge between memory and presence—a way to hold onto love when words and time had slipped away. It wasn’t just the wallet. A paw print her veterinarian had gifted her after her dog’s passing. A small tuft of her dog’s fur left behind in the corner of a room. The umbilical cords of her daughters, carefully kept. These quiet, unassuming objects slowly took on profound meaning as time continued to move forward.

This realization became the foundation of Livon—a brand built on the belief that memorial jewelry can serve the same purpose. Each piece is thoughtfully created to carry memory, connection, and comfort—something deeply personal to hold close, always.
